Don’t Blink – You’ll Miss It!

Ever (almost) mindful of the fact that the Diary Gods may come through and delete all us inactives at any time….I am putting in my two cents worth during a slack moment between classes….

OK – I lied.  There is no such thing as a slack moment between classes.  I’ll leave it up to your ever fertile imaginations to figure out how I had time to sneak this in……….

Poor Blossom has been struck by some sort of illness.  It makes her fall over and walk in circles… one of the most pathetic pups I’ve ever seen.  Really scared me – thought I was going to lose her… but meds seem to be helping – keep your fingers crossed. (Do you know the vet actually perscribed Dramamene to keep her from getting “seasick” as she walks around in circles?)

School is hard.  I am ALWAYS tired.  I am somehow involved in more projects that I thought possible.  In short….I have never worked so very very hard for so very very little $$$$$$$$$$$.  The kids….the kids are awesome teachers.  Guess that’s why I do it – cause it sure as hell can’t be the money.

I miss my diary and diary friends something TERRIBLE!!!!  Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts and hearts.  I am (yeah, yeah – I’ve said this before…) REALLY going to try and catch up and get regular !!!  (With my diary…not my digestion!)

Valentine hugs and kisses to you ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!

ok………well that was amusing ~BITE ME xoxoxxx

Happy VD to you, too! We miss you here, but we realize that real life does interfere sometimes… lol… hope the pupper feels better soon.

I recently started a sexual abuse victims diary..where people can join together and learn to cope about the pain that they have endured. Now, I dont know if you have or if you know someone who may be of some help, but I would truely appreciate it if you could spread the word. Thank you, Sarah

Glad to see you are still with us … 😉

Our dog had episodes like that twice, it was really scary. Apparently the doctor said it was pancreatitus or something…

Not to worry about deletion, Sunshine; the new rules give 90 days for that now. Deletions are programmed to that tho. Glad to see your name hilighted in the Favs. Hope the school work eases up and gives you more time to be here on OD

Although, now that I think about it, I probably shouldn’t have done that because now you won’t have as much reason to get on at least once a month! xoxox

Oh, yes, and one more thing … the dog across the street from me had an illness like that a couple of times. It was some sort of vertigo-something-or-other. It goes away, eventually, but the drugs do help. Poor spinning Blossom!

February 13, 2004

Happy Valentine’s day to you also, and try not to work so hard. 🙂

ryn: You must be psychic. I heard that Tom Petty song on the radio the other day (for about the 10 millionth time in my life) and it just vibed for me that day. I have adopted it as my themesong. I will stand my ground and I won’t back down. It fits, right now! 🙂

February 15, 2004

oh, poor baby dog, it makes me crazy when the guys i live with are suffering. will think healing thoughts your way.

February 15, 2004

Happy Valentines day dear wolfie! I’m glad things seem to be going well for you. You seem happy even though you’re busy. I hope you poor pup will be okay. It’s hard when our pets are sick. As another noter said, you better come back when you get the chance. I miss you when you’re gone so long. 😀 RYNs: Thanks hun! Things are starting to improve a bit. *warmest hugs*

ryn’s: I’ll be posting more soon. Haha, this may bring you back to OD more often, yes? It’s a corn-spiracy! You knew it! 😀

Happy Valentine’s Day, and I’m glad you’re still here on OD, too! Poor Blossom — I feel miserable when a little one is sick. I hope things look up soon. Good luck with the teaching — having grown up to my mother’s stories, I’m quite content sticking with adult ed. My hat’s off to you!

Life gets in the way of diary at times. i too am waaaaay behind. So this is a short note written whilst wearing shorts in humidity after a fortnight in the hot and cold south of Oz. Hot one day and very cold the next…Alex. and as ever thans for droppiung in!

My English in above note is odd but then so am I! alex

Hey, hey, Happy belated Valentine’s day to you too! Took a break for a bit and am trying to get back into the swing of things. I’m delighted to see how happy you are teaching…I bet the kids love you! Glad to hear from you “TOO”! (((((Reaches out to give you big hugs)))))

Dear Sunny thank you for note. I am so guilty of loving too much. i doubt my innocence but it was such a nice expresion that I borrowed from the diarist..Guilty Innocence! I am just a bower bird seizing pon nice words to line my nest! Alex

February 16, 2004

does that mean your digestion ISN’T regular?.. no; second thoughts, I don’t think I need that answer! Take care 🙂

February 17, 2004

OMG…just look at Luna’s gift! What a sweetie. Now you HAVE to get your ass in here and write stuff. Please? ~;)

February 18, 2004

Oh dear, did Blossom have a stroke? The good news is that dogs, unlike a lot of people, seem to recover from strokes just fine. My sister-the-vet says not to worry too much about canine strokes. I’ve been AWOL on OD, too. Hey, if the War Criminal can be AWOL, so can I!

sighs. how do i miss these entries? sometimes my the bold in my list just doesn’t work. diarymaster has extended the grace period for inactives, that’s a good thing. Ooo lookie, you have been gifted a diary subscription! hehe.. nice! (c)

i, too, seem to have no slack time between kids. if i’m not babysitting, i’m trying to catch up on the million and one things i’ve got to do; failing greatly at times. there really is no amount of $$$ (well….. hardly.. LOL) that can pay us for what we do~
