I believe I have been in a depression and attempted state of denial ever since Tuesday’s elections. Yesterday’s UN vote didn’t help any. Now the whole damn world is essentially electing Dubya. That’s it. I resign!!!
This morning I have had song lyrics running around in my head…so I thought I’d pluck em out and put em down here – then maybe I can face the day…or it can face me! (I attempted to credit who sang the song – who actually wrote them is way beyond me!)

When I have lyrics stuck in my head, it is one song. You have an entire juke box going on in there! Yikes!! Before the elections, when it looked like some sense might prevail, I listened to NPR when driving. Now it is all KROQ and KLOS all the time. For the next two years. (3)to interact with the larger community for up to 8 days at a time. When I first heard about operculums, I literally said, “I wish I had an operculum.” I said it out loud. The girl next to me gave me the weirdest look. I started to ‘splain, but then just smiled and wandered off to look at the snails. I want to reincarnate as (in this order): Ca horn snail, eagle, dolphin, and snow leopard. 🙂
