Sorted/Kind of

Completely sorted things out with Mike.  He accepted my apologies and we’ve really made each other happy again.  We’ve spoken on the phone so much this week and can’t wait to see him next weekend.  It’s just going to be a long week without him (he’s on cub camp)

I still can’t believe how happy he’s made me.  He says such wonderful things and makes me feel like a proper princess.  I’m falling for him in a big way!

Lisa has invited us both to the whole wedding.  So we’re going.  I’m really happy that whole situation has got sorted. I miss having her as a friend.  Seems like we’re back on track though and I don’t think it would have happened without Mike.

Having quite some serious family problems though.  Rich, my cousin and his son (who I call my nephew, Kal) and his stupid psycho fat cow girlfriend, Alison are over from Malta.  I’m so thrilled to see them. I’ve really missed Rich and Kal is unbelievably gorgeous!!!  I’ve spent the day playing with him (he’s 16months already) and he’s just so cute! 

Unfortunately, Alison is a complete bitch and treating Rich like utter shit.  Don’t think she’s being particularly nice with Kal either, but I thought she was a bad mother when she slapped Kiran (her other son) over in Malta.  I really hate her. 

We’re really fighting to get Rich to fight for residency of Kal and move over here. Alison has serious mental health issues (not just saying that because I dislike her) and I think (from a legal perspective) Rich is in with a really good chance of getting custody of Kal, but he’s so scared of losing him he’s not doing anything about it.  My Auntie Dee’s been crying on the phone to me, and my Granma’s really upset too.  It’s an awful situation but because of my legal experience, they’re looking to me for advice.  There’s only so much I can do though when Rich doesn’t make the first move. 

I’m so worried about Kal.  I’m more worried about Rich as he’s a shadow of his former self.  Rich is my godfather, as well as my cousin and he’s always been the overprotective one, looking out for me, and now it looks like it’s my time to return the favour.  I hope it all gets sorted.  I can’t stand seeing him in such a state.
