Let’s Go Crazy
Walked into work last night and was told by 4 separate members of staff I should just walk out… it was that busy! π I got a pile of stuff dumped on my desk, clealy had a busy night planned. 5 of us on last night, me, Ian, Hazel, Sati and Steve. Had a great laugh.
Radio was playing loads of silly cheesy pop so we were all singing and dancing, in the midst of having quite some serious shit to deal with… Most of which I can’t comment about but needless to say, there will be quite some interesting stories in the papers tomorrow! I should think…
Enchillllladas went down a treat last night. Even Ian said I was a great cook. I’ve made albondigas tonight… spicy meatballs and red rice. I hope they’re ok as it’s something I’ve never done before. If not, we can get a takeaway! Ha ha. I really enjoy cooking, so it’s nice to have people to cook for. Ian’s bringing us some form of dessert in… god knows what that will be. Ian doesn’t cook. He’s a man! Ha ha. I’m joking, it just started off a whole conversation about women being in the kitchen, etc. So I thought I’d throw back some of the sexism.
Ian, Steve and I talked for ages about blokes last night (Steve’s gay). I do like Marc, but think it will be better if we’re just mates for the time being. They’re all trying to set me up with Glen from work now as well. I reckon I stand about zero chance with him as he’s gorgeous! However, would be nice for a change. Ian decided I was just settling for whatever I can get because I’m desperate. He didn’t say it in so many words, and wasn’t being harsh, but that’s the underlying meaning. Probably true. Which is why, over the last month, I’ve mentioned more blokes than I care to think about! :S
My head is pretty empty today. Maybe because I’m tired. Last night I couldn’t stop thinking about absolutely everything, but today, zip. Lol. Probably a good thing really.
Let’s see what the night brings… Hopefully some more fun for my last night π
