Mom Life …
First things first when I start my day …
Coffee!!
I MUST have my morning brew of coffee when I get up. I love the feeling of watching the sun rising through my living room window, while a steaming hot cup of Joe cradles in my hands and fingers woven over. *Sigh* 😊 Bliss!
While I’m enjoying mankind’s most spectacular beverage creation (ha ha), my kids sit and do their workbooks, that I provided for them as part of their homeschool …. yet most days, I successfully manage my oldest to complete this task without asking over a thousand times! 😑 Yippee …
Currently, I live in a super small apartment. It’s great for a single person, not so much for 2 adults and 4 children. My kids are confined and losing their minds, but they are happy, imaginative kids. I enjoy teaching them and watching them explore in curiosity. It’s super stressful, don’t get me wrong … especially if I don’t have their full attention. It definitely, however, gives me as much time with them as I possibly can while they are young. Building memories is important 😊.
Well, I’m going to finish my coffee, that I manage to work on for the past hour and then ON TO THE DAILY HOUSEHOLD CHORES! Woo-hoo! Lol.
It’s been a pleasure as always! Take care and God bless!
Much Love As Always,
Amber.
God bless ya, I could never homeschool! I admire anyone who can bc that is amazing Luckily my daughter goes to a super great progressive charter school that focuses on character development that matches my own values. I wish I could go there even. Lol.
Also, coffee…siiiigh, happy place. Little things, no?
@thecriticsdarling that’s awesome! I hope you daughter gets to go 😊. That’s kinda why I homeschool (well, one of the reasons). Values that align with your family’s is important when looking for options on a school, I think.
And YES!! Coffee is my happy place in the mornings 😁 …and you’re right, it’s the little things that count. 💯💝
