Ice day
BACK and sooner than expected. Hah. Goal is once a day entries but today you get a bonus! Or I get a bonus. I dunno.
It’s an ice day. Which means? The roads are so icy and crazy that they are strongly recommending you don’t go out if you don’t have to. Which means the play date we had lined up for today is cancelled.
Well. It’s a Netflix day I suppose.
I have declared it clean the house and yourself day today. Gonna try and convince the toddler that we need to cut her toenails, the tiny raptor. Face masks and self care are the name of the game.
Tomorrow is a leap day. Do people DO things for leap days? I feel like it’s a thing I should do, though what one does I don’t know. Do you have leap day traditions?
I had actually forgotten it was leap day tomorrow, so I guess I have no special plans!
@thediarymaster I love the idea of making leap day A THING. Kinda like the olympics? I don’t know what though, my friend ate frog shaped cookies.
@gemnostalgic I like that idea, just a matter of finding an activity that is significant enough to bear repeating every four years 🙂

They say if you work you get an extra days pay so maybe go out for dinner? or buy a toy for the darling child?
@jaythesmartone her birthday is in a few weeks so I’m not allowed to buy any toys! Hah. But going out for lunch is a good idea. Also maybe something about frogs? Frog shaped craft? Hmm.

The idea of having an ice day is very weird to me. That’s not something that happens where I’m at. It was only snow days.
