crazy times

Hi.  I realize how long it’s been since I’ve written.  Times have been a little rough for me the last few months.  I’ve been having some health problems and have gone through hell trying to figure out what had been going on.  I’ve been to the ER four times.  Twice for high blood pressure and twice for insanely bad panic attacks.  I’ve had blood tests, EKGs, a colonoscopy, ultrasounds and been on several different medicines.   first my doctor thought it was carcinoid cancer, then gallstones, then kidney issues.  All of those tests have come back normal.  Now he’s thinking I could have something going on with my adrenal glands.  I’m just tired of the tests and the worrying.  I want to get back to my normal life and be able to enjoy my kids without the anxiety in the back of my mind.

My kids are awesome. I can’t believe how much they’ve changed in the past couple of months.  Natalie is 10 months old already.  She’s crawling, pulling up on things, cruising along furniture, climbing on stuff, and just getting into as much trouble as she can.  Gavin is taking a lot now.  He’s become a real chatter-box.  He is super smart (at least in my opinion) ;).  He knows the whole alphabet and is starting to count.  He knows just about all the colors and is pretty good at shapes.  He surprises me every day with something new that he knows or can do.

In other news, I’m going to be an aunt again.  My brother and his wife are expecting identical twin girls in August!  I’m super excited but if it was me expecting twins with two other little kid (my niece and nephew are only 3 and 4) I think I’d be having daily panic attacks instead of just weekly. ;). They seem to be more excited than nervous though and I’m really happy for them.

I suppose I should get going.  Gavin is fighting sleep and keeps calling me into his room for one thing or another.  Right now he’s yelling to me that he had a poopy diaper so I better go check.
