Nothing to do….UG
I have nothing to write about because things generally tend to not happen while you’re just sitting on a couch all day. The only news I have is that I had a dr appt yesterday. It went well. The baby’s heartbeat was still really good on the monitor and I still am not having any more contractions. I haven’t gotten the results of the gestational diabetes test back yet since the blood draw was just yesterday but i’ve decided I should start trying to eat better anyways… starting tomorrow after Ben goes grocery shopping. We have nothing healthy in the house to eat right now. Seriously, I had toaster strudels for breakfast, a can of ravioli for lunch, a couple bites of ice cream for a snack and pancakes for dinner. Wow. Good thing I took a prenatal viatamin (just like everyday…) because there was nothing good about what I ate today. Ben really really needs to go shopping. It’s so hard not to be able to do stuff like that myself because Ben has so little time. He’s working over tonight… he said he should be home around 11pm. But because of all the overtime, he decided to take tomorrow off rather than get paid for it. So at least he’ll be around tomorrow and he’ll have time to mow the lawn and go shopping! I’m craving fresh veggies so bad right now and all we have in our house is crap! Mmmm what I’d give for some hummus and cherry tomatoes.
Our good friends who are graphic designers are painting us something for the baby’s room. I’m really excited about it. 🙂 I can’t wait to see what they do. I think he said something about animal silouhettes which will be cute. The nursery is pretty bland so it will be nice to have something for the walls and how cool that it’ll be such a personal thing. 🙂
Ug, I feel like my brain is rotting out of my skull from watching so much tv. I can’t even concentrate on writing this entry. Although it could be because I’m half watching The Office and it’s the one where there’s a bat in the office and Jim convinces Dwight he’s turning into a vampire. haha, funny stuff. I think maybe I’ll go read for awhile. I haven’t been able to get into the book I’m reading (Fluke by Christopher Moore) but I think I’ll give it another try. Oh, I finished The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield the other day. I really liked that book. Kind of a strange one but I recommend it!
