The College Student Life: I Did Not Miss You
I literally spend almost every waking moment outside of school and work in Hale Library on campus.
This is ridiculous – school is starting to stress me out. Just had a massive first exam for my Hispanic American Civ class – I got a fucking C, but I still have an 87% in the class because I’ve aced everything else she’s assigned, I just need to study harder. I have a presentation over gifting and exchange in 1450 Germany for my Cultural Anthropology class that cannot find any articles for ANYWHERE. I have a questionnaire due on Thursday that covers a two hour film over Spain discovering the New World that is going super slow, I have to read 20 pages for Spanish Comp and Grammar due tomorrow morning and I have to go see a movie in the Union for Hisp Am Civ TONIGHT. While all this is going on my boss is blowing up my phone right now asking if there is any chance I can work for him tonight… sorry boss, but when I see you again I am going to have to drop my hours even worse than I already have. Right now I’m working maybe 40 hours every two weeks but all this strain is going to make me drop it down even more. My finances through the end of the year are definitely going to suffer but at this point I wont be really doing anything outside of school and work so at least I’ll stay on top of my bills.
Other than that, my roomie finally decided to move out, thank god. I cannot handle his negativity any more. Plus his dogs have basically ruined the living room carpet so I know my landlord is pissed too. I hope he moves out soon.
Things are good otherwise. Victor keeps crashing at my place because we’re constantly hanging out into the late hours of the night. I dont mind it, I actually sleep better when there is someone else in bed. I spent the night at his place last night for the first time… super uncomfortable for me cause it was so HOT in his room… and for some reason when I was moving around when I was asleep he thought I was about to fall off the bed so he grabbed my wrist super quick and snapped me wide awake. If anything I really enjoy his company. But romantically there is nothing there.
