New Mexico: Week Twenty Four

That was a loooong weekend – I abused far too much Redbull but I’m glad its over and done with.

Just got done watching 500 Days of Summer – I enjoyed it thoroughly. Just went and added a ton of movies to my queue. Excited for that too.

School stuff is pretty much on track, gonna fill out some stuff on campus when I get back to square the last of it away before I come home to Wichita.

Its kind of odd that I’m more excited to come back to Wichita than I am to be coming back to Manhattan, although I’m sure by the time the new year rolls around I’ll be ready to come back. My poor bedroom has seen me 4 nights the last 6 months, and it probably wont see much of me till January. I should have sublet it, but its okay. Its too cheap to let that place go.

Noble wants me to stay through the 23rd of November… I talked to him on the phone over the weekend about it and I told him that I would rather leave on the 20th so I can take care of some things in Manhattan before I went home but if he wanted me to stay the extra days then he would have to fly me straight to Wichita and ship a few things to Manhattan since I wont be able to take them there myself, I’ve learned to preach to his wallet because I know how much he hates having to spend it. So HOPEFULLY I’ll be packing to head home this time next month, cross your fingers.

Made some calls in Wichita about holiday work, I have to schedule an interview at a temp agency as the date of my return gets closer, it will be a working vacation for me, but I dont mind… I think I am going to live off whatever I make in Wichita for the month and save my checks from Noble so I can really build a cushion going into January, plus its extra money for the down payment on my car in Feb – I want to put down at least $2500, I dont need a high monthly payment.

Oh yeah, I’ll be staying with my old roomie Sarah for the month while I’m home. Super excited!

Two weeks away from my trip to Dallas!
