New Mexico: Week Twenty Two
I’m up early today, I woke up right at the buttcrack of dawn and I’m already yawning. I’m going to town today, and I plan on destroying a small pizza buffet with Eddy, the maintenance man, he’s in his 70’s but is actually pretty cool, I’ve known him since I’ve been working for Noble – almost 4 years. I can’t believe its been that long. Next to McDonald’s in high school this has been my longest lasting job so far. It doesnt sound like a long time but I’m only 28 people!
Got enough people interested in the game in December to buy a block of tickets but good god those tickets are expensive in bulk! The only ones I could find on the Chiefs side are $72 per person, we’re easily looking at over $1000 for the tickets and I’ll be damned if I have to sit on that till December so I am going to have people send me checks… insane!
Wishing I could be in Kansas City this upcoming weekend but as it stands, work wins. Just another month and a half…
Just had to write a check out of my own account to the hood cleaners because my boss wasn’t in to write a check herself. I better get reimbursed TODAY.
My room is a disaster – I need to clean up a little bit before I have the housekeepers see my room and have a coronary.
I think I am going to try to get a holiday season job in Wichita… might as well do something productive instead of just bum around the whole time. Thoughts?
