New Mexico: Week Twenty One

Its been hectic this last week.

I ALMOST bought a flatscreen… but I held back. Two more months and I’ll buy it then.

I think I’m settled on the 2010 Ford Focus… I did the math and I’m looking at around $3000 for a tax return this year which will go towards the down payment, insurance, and tags for the car. Valentine’s Day needs to get here, thats when I FINALLY get my license back. Its been long enough.

I am hoping for some really good belated birthday presents when I get back home this winter. My little sister got a laptop, other little sister got a gift card to the mall, my dad got a gift card for Sheplers, my older sister is getting her present in the mail tomorrow from Coach, my little brother is going to get to keep $200 that I loaned him earlier this summer and I havent decided on my other little sister yet, she just bought a car, so maybe some speakers? Suggestions?

Its getting closer and closer to October. My boss goes on vacation on the 5th and we have the Studio Tour from the 9th to the 11th… busy busy busy. Business apparently will slow down right after that so we’re going to start closing an hour earlier till Thanksgiving. I wont be here by then though. I’m thinking about swinging through our property in Glenwood Springs Colorado on my way home… depending on the weather, its a bit out of the way, but I want to check it out since I’ve seen this one, the property in Chama and work at the one in Manhattan. Just making my rounds I guess.

Have I mentioned how excited I am for DALLAS?! Ah I cannot wait! Especially for the Interpol show too 🙂
