We’ve just stopped in Mackay. It’s raining.
You’ll never guess what I overheard in conversation !! Apparently it’s flooded up Townsville/Cairns way, so they’re gonna bus us all up !!! Crazy huh? But how exciting!!

I’ve hardly thought of Matt on this trip. Wow… am I getting over him? I hope. And usually, when we stop at Mackay I’m like, all melancholic about him. Yet all I thought this time was a matter-of-fact ‘Mackay… where Matt lives… It’s raining…. Poor Matt… he hates the rain.’

Okay, the old fart across the aisle from me is getting on my nerves with that senseless tune he’s humming! I swear, he hums 100% of the time he’s awake!

I had a bad dream. I dreamed that I borrowed Jodi’s car for work but on the way back I was so tired and I couldn’t put my foot down on the clutch and I broke the gearbox. Then I crashed it. I owed her almost a thousand dollars! I kept acting all calm about it on the surface but inside I was in agony, screaming ‘WHERE THE HELL AM I GONNA GET ALL THAT MONEY FROM ?!?’ Scary.
