A new place to call my ‘home’

Im sitting on the roof right now. The wind feels good and the asphalt stuff is burning my feet, but I don’t care. I like it out here. The view isn’t much, but its better than the one at my old house. Behind this house is a huge grassy bayou, beyond that is some golf courses, and surrounding the golf course is houses. Its alot better than looking out my old window and seeing our neighbors backyard.

Our next door neighbor has a pool with a fountain, and the fountain is always on and I love the sound of it. Its relaxing.

I slept here for the first time last night. It was strange. It felt like I was in someone else’s house, not mine. Maybe once all my boxes are unpacked itll feel less uncomfortable. Right now my room looks like a warzone, because I can’t unpack anything because i don’t have my shelves yet. My dad made me leave my shelf and two desks at the old house, because theyre both really old, scribbled on and carved into, and theyre literally falling apart. He says he’s gonna get me new ones. It better be soon, because most of my boxes are open with their contents spilling onto the floor because I was trying to find stuff to entertain myself with.

Its really boring here. Especially without my computer. My computer is still at the old house, until my dad fixes the floor in this house’s gameroom. Im on my moms laptop right now. I was able to connect to someone’s network to use the internet. Ha. My brother says Im "stealing their internet", I say Im sharing it 🙂 It keeps going on and off though, so Im trying to type this quick.

Thats one of the reasons why Im outside on the roof too, because the internet has a stronger connection out here.

Well, im thirsty, and my butt is starting to hurt from sitting up here so im gonna go insde.
