I met a boy
And that’s as far as it’s gone. Just met. I have no idea if it will go any further but this was what happened at work today.
I was working the first class cabin and greeting passengers as they board the plane, when one handsome stranger came on board and caught my attention. We both locked eyes. He smiled at me and said “Hello! How are you?” I said “Doing great thank you for asking! And you?” He replied “Good!” And smiled as he made his way to his seat. “He’s cute.” I thought.
It was a 3 hour flight from Dallas to San Francisco and after I was finished with my meal service I went to the aft galley to hang with my fellow flight attendant friend Wynn who was working the main cabin. Then, Mister handsome came back to use the restroom. When he came out he said hello and asked if we minded if he hung out and stretched his legs for a bit. I said “Of course not! We love company!” Then we all started chatting. He ended up hanging out and talking with us for a good 35 minutes. 🙂 Well mostly me. Wynn could tell I was into him and made an excuse to leave the galley for a bit.
His name was Aaron and he was something else. His energy radiated. Hey was so friendly and respectful and fun to talk to. There was just something about him. Then when the seatbelt sign came on he said I should hit him up if I’m ever in the SFO area again. I blushed and put his number in my phone. We also exchanged instagrams and then he took his seat. I wondered if he was actually interested or if he was just being friendly. Wynn told me he thinks he’s definitely into me. Well when we landed and everyone was deplaning, Aaron said “You better text me!” ☺️ I said “I will!”
That definitely showed he was interested. 🥰
When we got off the plane I texted him “Hey! Here’s my number. 😉 It was so nice to meet you tonight Aaron! :)” He didn’t respond, but he did follow me on insta and like a couple of my posts… I’m not sure what to think about that. Anyway it’s silly of me to get my hopes up. I’m not going to obsess and if I don’t hear from him it was a really nice encounter either way. 😁
You are a flight attendant? How intriguing! Very interesting. Yes, we’ll see what transpires with Aaron. You are off to a good start.

@w11stop Whoops! I accidentally deleted your note when I was trying to delete my first comment in order to edit some grammar mistakes. I didn’t have a chance to ask him about his love life nor did I feel comfortable since we were complete strangers and I couldn’t tell if he was flirting or being friendly. I was also in front of other passengers and the other Flight Attendant. I have to be professional at work and keep things friendly. I never put right flirt or give my number on the airplane. I was hoping we would be able to meet up later so I could get to know him better, but I don’t think that’s going to happen. The reason I wrote that I wasn’t going to get my hopes up was because every single time I get excited about a man, it ends up going nowhere or turning out worse than I imagined. The last guy I met, and started dating, ( who was also super charming, handsome, and sweet ) turned out to already have a girlfriend. It was absolutely awful and I felt so bad for the girl. I realized though that there is no way of knowing if someone is cheating or if they are a good person or bad person. The only thing that tells is time. Men aren’t smart enough to keep things up for too long. Eventually they slip. I don’t know about Aaron but I don’t think it’s going to go anywhere. About to write about it.
