Mundane.

         I had my annual review a few days ago. I got my annual raise (the max you can receive) which was pretty nice. I was fully prepared to confront the GM about my promotion and ask about an additional raise for my MOD status but he was ahead of the game. He contacted the Regional Manager and asked if he could give me more of a raise and she told him to just double my annual raise! Most people get somewhere between 2 and 3% and I was given 3.5 times 2. So I got a full 7% raise. Not to mention there is talk of making me a full time supervisor after the first of the year which will mean additional pay. I am definitely excited to see my next paycheck which will reflect the raise. I am hoping that it doesn’t put me in a whole other tax bracket which will eat up the extra funds. The extra money will definitely come in handy to make living on my own more manageable. I might even be able to afford pork chops and steak on a more regular basis, ha ha.

  To make the week even better I bought a futon on Monday. It’s not really a couch you can sink into right now but ,it’s something until I am more settled and can afford something better. I went down a uniform size too, and ordered new ones this week. That felt GREAT. =) Maybe with all this money I will be making I can work on a new wardrobe. Woohoo. 

  B is having a Halloween party on the 29th and I have no clue what I should be. I don’t think it’s a costume party that requires an outlandish and detailed costume, but definitely something creative….and I can’t think of anything. I have so much going on in the next couple of weeks that the party will be here before I know it, so I feel like I have such little time to come up with something. Ahh well, I am sure something will come to me…

     Wow….so this was a pretty pointless update in the life and times of Hanna…I’m off to watch American Horror Story. =)
