Rambling

Ha, I got my car washed yesterday! Finally. I didn’t think I’d ever get the chance to wash off all that grime and make it sparkle again. She’s one year old in May. 😀  Now I hope the weather is pleasant on Wednesday so I can tackle the rest of the yard work. Because yeah, THAT’S fun..ha ha. It wouldn’t be so bad and hard to manage if my mom would help out, but that requires house work and she refuses. But thats okay, I probably do a better and faster job without her, lol. She takes too many smoke breaks.

Today would be a beautiful day to take a drive. Its kind of cloudy out, but there’s a breeze and its warm. I don’t know where I’d even drive to, if I had more freedom I’d keep going East until I hit the Atlantic, and wait for the third week of May when Frank comes back to the states, lol.  Im tellin’ ya, if I didn’t have to help my mom pay bills, if I wasn’t enrolled in College, if I didn’t have a job that needed me, or bills of my own to take care of, there would be nothing stopping me! I would just take off. Except for one credit card, I have brought all the others to 0. I am trying to elliminate as much bills as possible, so I don’t have so much tying me to this place. So that when I want to rent a Uhaul, I can just pack up and go next year. =)

I bought my mom a little something for Easter. She always makes sure I have a basket full of goodies, even though I am nearly 21. I am her only child and spoil me she must, lol. She makes a big deal out of the holidays though, I know when I have children of my own I will make them just as important as she has taught me. Today when we both get off work we’re going to meet at my 96 year old great-grandmother’s and spend the evening with her. No doubt she will have a HUGE spread on her dining room table just for the three of us. I think the only thing that keeps that old bat alive is her drive to feed EVERYONE. She’s not happy until she knows you’ve left with your pants unbuttoned and tums in your hand, lol. She’s fiesty that one, I hope I am just like her at 96. =) She still moves her furniture around! She gets bored, and decides to redecorate her house and moves ALL the furniture clockwise, just to have a little change, lol. And I don’t mean she gets people to move it for her, she does it herself. She used to get in trouble for mowing her own lawn at 90! But she hated being cooped up, and wanted to do her yard work on her own. I think they should have let her until she didn’t feel like it anymore. But she was old and they worried she might hurt herself, so…what can ya do?  She tires out a lot faster though these days. Kind of worries me. She’s the only grandparent I have been close to. It really worries me.

Work is really boring today. There were only 23 rooms rented last night, and only three of them stayed over. Everyone wanted a late check out so they could go to church, come back and change before hitting the road. I was pretty accomodating about it, it’s not like we have a rush of people coming in today, its Sunday…the "slowest" day of the week. And it’s a holiday..There’s no one online to talk to either. My homework is done, and I didn’t think to bring a book with me, so here I am, babbling on about total nonsence, lol. I wish I knew where Frank was, I could use his company. He said "brb" yesterday and never returned. Im sure he’ll decide to come on and message me while I am visiting my grandmothers. He’ll wonder why I am not home online, and why I wont respond to his messages..lol …Let ’em wonder where I am for a while. It wont kill him.

Anyway, I am gunna go bug the laundry people and see if they need any help…they never do but at least I’m offering..Happy Easter!
