Killing Love

Lies aided you in your malovence
and I watched your lips touch another.
"Justified" by your lover’s carelessness,
little does he know of the other times
-your arms have yearned for some one else.
Yet you say you love him…and he you.

However, love isnt forty phone calls to your mother
     wondering where you are.
love isn’t the jealousy
that hurled the furniture accross the room.
And love isn’t the posessiveness
that keeps you from your roots.
Yet you let him.

But he isn’t the only guilty one.
his cheating heart is "justified" then too.
Immaturity blinds you from the sancatity that is love,
that you can’t find in eachother,
now you must lie in the sheets you squander
-someday covered in the blood you shed,
and sadly its the perfect crime.
we find you guilty, the jury said.
   –of the crime of passion
also known as,  a recipe for murder.
