Online In The Fast Lane

Well I have been absent for a few days? Did anyone notice?  Didn’t think so, lol. Well for starters, I would just like everyone who is reading this, that after 9 LONNNNNNNNNNNG, SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW years of dial up internet, I have finally taken the plunge and  pampered myself with high speed at home.  Sigh…yes I know, pathetic.  I am soooooo behind other people. I get cool things when they go out of style and the price goes down, haha. But it is so nice to have pages loading faster than 1, 2, 3!  I am going to look into getting a router, and some wireless cards, (one for my desk top, and my moms desk top, my laptop already has one installed.,) and when Frank is here JANURARY 9th, 2006!!!! he will hook us up, so my mom and I can be online at the same time, and not have to sit around waiting on pages to load. Yes, it will be nice. Its so nice having a computer nerd for a boyfriend. He always gets me the best stuff ya know…now if I can just get another bf whos into cars…..and then one whos a poet, and all bases would be covered, haha….

And for all you last minute shoppers, who end up in Walmart because Walmart has everything, they wont. Not tomorrow. I went into to exchange something today and omg, I had to park like, TWO parking lots over…I don’t mean to rows..I mean to OTHER parking lots. Freaking CRAZY.  And people drive real slowe, cut you off without ANY notice, and then wonder why there are more car related accidents this time of year. I can tell ya why, Christmas makes people CRAZY, IDIOTS…ect…you get the picture. lol Its so annoying too, because its not like you can get in the next lane and just pass the idiot, because the car in that lane is going SLOWER than the person in front of you. Especially so when all I wanted to do was go home. Stood in line at the customer service at least 35 minutes. And there was only like 5 people ahead of me. Still trying to figure that out.  But Im smart, all my shopping, and wrapping, and card giving, is DONE. All I have to do is sit back and wait to open some presents. The only thing still in progress is Frank’s blanket, and I must say, it is coming along nicely. I think he’ll like it, especially the love and thought that I have put behind it. He wouldn’t admit it in a million years, but he’s sentimental too. The pocket watch I gave him last year, he wears it EVERY day. *smiles*  Makes me feel good to know  its just as special to him to have it as it was for me to give it.

At the work Christmas party Weds. I got my bonus. $200!!! I had the biggest one at the whole hotel. I worked hard for it, I think I definately deserve it. As much crap as  I put up with at that place!!  David also gave me a gift card for 75$ (this is my mom’s ex fiancee) and if he hadn’t done that, I wouldn’t have been able to finish buying my mom presents. I went into walmart, picked up a few things, and it came to 74.98 lol, after taxes and everything.  That was such a relief . My mom, now that I am older, buy eachother like 12 gifts, small, big, whatever, but we still have two main presents we open with our stocking, we call them out santa presents. They usually end up being the best gift, so since there is just us, we each end up with like 14 presents. Well, I had her santa presents, and stocking stuff, and like 6 presents under the tree and I was out of $$$. If it wasn’t for the gift card I don’t know what I would have done. He gave my mom a gift card too, for the same amount, and she bought us some groceries.  He also gave her 200 to get caught up on bills. (However, I am almost positive she spent it on fast food, ciggerets, and paying the check into cash place..I dunno…I don’t see any bills in the paid pile…lol…so I may have electric next week…we’ll see!

I am so excited I am going to get to see Frank that I can’t stop thinking about it. He is showing a lot more excitement than he usually does too. He’s always so quiet and posed and poker faced.  I like it when he shows expression. Its endearing. But I already have reservations for a hotel in Saint Louis, and its nice too, I didn’t want something shabby and old ya know?  I am not sure what we’ll do up there, but we have time to figure it out I guess. I just want to see him, so, so so so so so so so SOOOOOOOOO bad. It will have been 5 months in Jan!  Too long to go without seeing your boyfriend…thats for sure.

Well, I really just wanted to update this thing. and wish everyone a Merry Christmas. I hope everyone gets at least something they’ve wanted this year. Hopefully you get everything you wished for though. =)  Now I am off to read some faves and see whats up…Happy Holidays guys.
