HOPE HOPE HOPE!!

Well, yesterday I called my bank to see if they offered student loans, and would I be eligable for one because I bank there? They said they don’t offer student loans but they said they could give me a number to a bank that does. So I call the number and the lady picks up, I tell her why I am calling and she refers me to another lady who THEN gives me another number to a studen loan "specialist" for their bank. lol  So I call the 3RD number and I get her voicemail. I wasn’t going to leave a message but then I changed my mind and decided to call back. I left a message and said I was interested in information regarding their bank and student loans and that’d be at work until 11pm if she could call back as soon as possible. Then I hung up. I walk out of the room and remember I didn’t leave a number for her to call me back at, haha. So I felt stupid calling and leaving another message with a number. But guess what, she called back? I told her my situation and she said I should apply for these three certain loans, and out of those I should qualify for at least one of them. So today after classes I am going to sit down and do that. But I am going to keep looking elsewhere for money just incase those three loan applications don’t pan out. I am running short on time as it is. I have credit cards I can use but I don’t want to max those out trying to pay for my education. It would take me the whole 4 years just to pay them off! So, bad idea. Anyway, for whoever reads this, keep your fingers crossed for me.

Last night was SO busy at work. I never got a break, I never got to sit down, or work on my homework and I had a lot to do! I went home and fell into bed and went to sleep instantly. I am so glad I have tomorrow off, I am so sleeping in. Then I am gunna fill up my big bathtub and just soak, and relax. Try to forget where I am.  I was supposed to go with that girl from work tomorrow night but she ran out of money soooooooooooooooooo we’ll have to reschedual. And to be honest, as much as I want a social life, I am kind of looking forward to just staying home. My mom is going right after work to pick up her father to bring him home, so she wont even be home until later that night. I might rent me a movie, make me some sketty (mmmmmmmm) and just do nothing at all with my evening. Sounds so nice just to be lazy. I need to get out there and pull weeds though. This guy next door has been so nice, every weekend he has mowed both of our lawns, (put together its not very big, like maybe the size of a small house). It would only take me 15 minutes to do it, so its not a big job. However on our rose rack/tree thing we have a big weed growing up beside it. Looks like a tree! lol. Thats going to be a project. I might do that, so I feel somewhat productive and not just a total couch potato. Shrug, we’ll see, its my day off! I also got two new books off ebay I need to read. The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown and I Know This Much Is True by Wally Lamb. (uhg, he’s such an amazing writer. I wish he had more than just three books!) Lamb wrote this book called She’s Come Undone. I swear I must have read it like 50 million times. And the funny thing is, every time I read it, I always pick up something new. Some insight, some joke, just something. He’s so witty and sarcastic and I love it! Its probably my favorit book of all time. So I am excited to read this second book.

His third book is called, Couldn’t Keep It To Myself. He is actually an English professor in Conneticut. And he visits the female state prison and teaches them English and how to write. Well he has some of them write their stories and he’s published them. I REALLY want to read that. I am trying to find a good deal on ebay but so far I haven’t. I think after I finish the two books I just got I might try looking again. Frank really wants me to have The Da Vinci Code read by the time he gets here. So we have something profound and intellectual to talk about, lol. I’ve suggested that we both look for a book that we’re interested in and read it so we have something new to talk about or discuss or something. I think he kind of liked the idea but we didn’t explore it much. We talk about movies and TV a lot. He loves to critisize them. But it seems the movies I like he doesn’t, and the movies he likes I have never even seen, lol. Last night he went on for like an hour about some stupid sci fi movie. Just kept talking and talking and talking. I skimmed it and acted interested but I have no clue what the movie was really about, lol. Some Island with prehistoric tigers who are living in some basment..I dunno. WEIRD. He gets so passionate about it though. Takes things like that very seriously. Then again, that is what he’s going to school for, so…..Looking forward to him being some big time movie producer!
