Day 2 – Prioritize yourself
We are so used to putting everyone else first. We are so used to serving, giving and nurturing others.
We wear many hats at the same time. We need to juggle a lot. We take care of everyone else at home and at work. It’s very easy to forget about giving to yourself and looking after yourself.
It is ok to make your needs a priority.
It is okay to prioritise yourself without feeling guilty.
It is perfectly fine to look after your own needs first sometimes.
More so, it is your obligation to do so.
Because ONLY when your own cup is full can you then give, nurture and look after others without losing yourself in the process.
EXERCISE
Do Something Nice for Yourself Today! Guilt-free! Just because you deserve some pampering and undisturbed me time. Do something that uplifts you and you love doing. It will make you feel energised and you’ll have a sense that you are making yourself feel important.
