Burn on his legs..

So, things aren’t great. CJ called me yesterday morning…He could hardly talk, he was crying. I knew something was wrong with him, the second he said hello. He said that he didn’t pass his 3 mile run in under 28 minutes. He was 2 minutes longer than he was supposed to be. Apparently he was burned on both his legs. Not a sun burn, but….its hard to explain. His skin is boiled up like a serious burn. They aren’t sure what’s going on. Apparently its been going on for nearly two weeks. It began to subside and then all of a sudden it started coming back…and he failed his run because of the pain he was going through.

Its so hard…we were supposed to be seeing him this upcoming Thursday. Not now…They wanted to keep him for another month. I screamed, cried. I couldn’t help it. I miss him so badly it makes me sick. He was crying…he kept saying "I failed you, I failed you"….I couldn’t be more proud of him…seriously…he’s amazing. He did this for our family and I can’t ask anything more from him. I love him so much. He didn’t fail me… He really didn’t…

Alright…So he asked if he could go. Be released. They sent him to the CO and he got some encouraging words from him and the DIs. So he’s staying. Instead of four weeks, he has to pass 3 of those same runs in 28 minutes by this friday, and he can graduate on the 20th. So…just one week longer. PRAY he makes it…please…

It’s 7-7-7…maybe this will be his lucky day..
