TODAY

I went to play Mah Jong this afternoon. A friend picked me up. We stopped at Mc Donalds for lunch. I only won one game. The other two are just much more experienced and concentrate alot more than I do. For me it is strictly social.

The woman who lived in the house we played in started to complain about her husband. Apparently he is a mean son of a bitch!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think it’s because he’s not happy the way his life turned out so he is taking it out on his wife. He won’t let her use the car. Often she is using her bike, bus or walking!!!!! I felt so sad for her. Is she too old to leave him? I have no idea. Some people have guts and do things like this others don’t. I was surprised when my sister left Toronto and moved to Montreal at the ripe old age of 88. I could never do it.

Anyhow I am up now. I went to bed early but couldn’t sleep.
