Wait To See If You’ve Any Last Words.

So, I got canned on Friday. I swear, my trainer was an ass. I actually plan on calling the company today to complain and try to salvage things. While on my first week of training, I worked alongside another trainee named Bill. Now, Bill was in his second week of training. While ringing things up on the cash register for customers, Bill asked me why I don’t simply scan them, as that would be faster. I told him that my trainer told me specifically not to scan things. He wants me to learn to look them up quickly. Problem is, with hundreds of items, it can take some time. So, my trainer had issues with the fact that I didn’t memorize the stock within three days. Besides that, he said my customer service was lacking. This, after he told me specifically not to be so friendly with people, and don’t look so happy to see them. He also didn’t like the fact that I couldn’t do an audit perfectly my first time around. Oddly enough, Bill, who, I’ll add again, is is second week, was given time out of his shift to practice audits. And my trainer expected me to have mine perfect by day three? My trainer did take notice of the fact that the place was a lot cleaner since I got there. That’s because I don’t do a half-assed job.

So, of course my stress level is way up. Now my son has decided that crying all day and night is the new cool thing to do. He’s not teething. I’m thinking possibly growing pains. He’s also trying his hardest to walk. He’s six months old and he’s already standing up and trying to get around. What a wild man.

The prison called me back. Said I passed phase one, and I’d likely get called for an interview in the next week or so. That’s good.

Keep your head up. You’ll find something better where you’re appreciated more. Random.
