OW! MY FREAKIN’ TOOTH! DENTIST, HELP!!

Okay, so not quite so dramatic as that, but yesterday, I woke up with the most amazing pain in my rotten top left wisdom tooth. I was immediatelt referred to an oral surgeon to be dealt with today. Well, at about 9AM, I got not one, but two wisdom teeth removed. Let me tell you kids, it is a wonderful experience. You get gassed, and you get to laugh, and you get knocked out. When you wake up, your teeth are gone, and you get to go home. No pain, no nothing.

I did try to hug the dentist while I was high though, apparently. I was telling everybody that I love them. Before getting the IV, Shasta wrote ‘insert pokey thing here’ on my arm. The oral surgeon was so awesome. His name is Dr Nish Shah, and he is in the medical plaza along Ray, between Dobson and the 101 Go to him. Seriously. He’ll make you super happy.

I took a nap in the car on the way home, and am noticing the drugs wearing off. I did come out of this experience with a fat lip from some instrument cutting me. But man, am I having a happy day. I love dentists. Thay rock. Rock my socks. Play with blocks. Horses’ co…better not say that one.

I wasnt sure what kind of response i would get from you, rather you would be cool about it or start something online. I respect your opinion and you are right she needs to pick, but you know things arent always as simple when you are in the situation. Thank you for you note I appreciate it. oh shit you get an IV??? they did NOT tell me that at at the consultation! I am SO SCARED of IV’s….one of the reasons I never practiced EMT is because I can’t deal with those tubes. They are gonna have to knock me out.
