a king is born
Well, a future king anyway. Why on earth we needed to be told when she had gone into labour I don’t know. Why can’t they just wait until babe has arrived and then announce ot! Anyway, apparently at 4.24 Catherine and William became the proud parents of a baby boy, 8lbs 6oz a fair size I thought considering how tiny she looked last time we saw her! Apparently mum and baby doing well and will be staying in overnight, awwww.
Having had a couple of cooler days over the weekend, we have had intense heat again today, but with it an uncomfortable humidity. We need a thunder storm, my head is pounding (I call it my thunder head) apparently forcast is for storms over the next few days.
The kids finish tomorrow. Bought a little present for my daughters teacher and her TA. They are little angel suncatchers, each has the birthstone of the teacher at it’s centre. I liked them, and may even get myself one :-). My daughter came home today saying she had bumped heads with another child. She has a bruise on her head, but not too bad. She went to a party after school. The boy who she calls ‘boyfriend ben’ hehe. They have been friends since playschool, and she often tells him she loves him, to which he mostly just blushes hehe. He turned 5 today, so there was a big party at Paul’s Pirates, a fun climbing indoor play area. She had fun but came home red as a beetroot!
Right, I’m having an early night. Just started re reading Dragonfly in Amber (2nd book of the outlander series) get in a few chapters before sleep. Please god let us have some rain, and maybe even a little thunder…..
Love and blessings xx
I wonder if there will be a monarchy by the time the lad might be king. Still glad all went OK – she needs to have a spare now!

I was really rooting for a little girl.

King Kevin the first…maybe not! When I was in labour I wanted total silence, I didn’t want music, talking or anything – least of all a bunch of ‘mad aunties’ cheering outside the hospital! Lol x
