Mother’s Day

Got given a box of chocs from my eldest, a mug from my middle one and a rose plant from my daughter. Although my eldest handed me the chocolates and said, ‘aren’t you on a diet?’ Which kinda took the thrill away a bit. On opening the box I then allowed him to remove the white chocs, cus I just can’t eat those, there were 8 of them so that was like a third of the box gone already. I’m going to ration the rest and allow myself a couple a day. My mug was very cute, I love my mum written on it 🙂 and the rose plant, technically was bought to replace the one hubby murdered in the garden last week, while pouring concrete to get ready for his new shed. However it is actually and indoor variety. So we’ll have to buy another rose bush for outside 😉 This is gorgeous though. There are 2 roses out already and lots of buds. Just have to hope I don’t kill it now! The rest of the day pretty much sucked, but I may write about that tomorrow, for now, I’m pooped and need sleep. Hope everyone had a good weekend.
