My brain is actually aching! I spent most of the day working through the medication training, doing blocks of about 20 mins and then some housework. I have just about finished as much as I can, before going into the home to do the ‘specific’ stuff. I did warn my manager I would need to come in and probably pick her brains about some of it as there are questions about the systems in place in the home, client medication records, storage etc. I know nothing as I don’t work in the home. Still, I am determined to complete it.
Also started to fill in the application form and learning aggreement for this other course my boss has put us in for. Omg, the form itself is so complicated. I sent my manager a txt with some queries and she expressed the same concerns as me. She will be talking to the boss tomorrow and let me know. We are only doing a distance learning course, but there doesn’t seem to be allowence for that on the forms, so it’s like we are having to apply for a place at the college itself. All seems a bit excessive.
I have barely seen hubby this last week. He has been spending most evenings in the shed, pulling his motorbike to bits. It’s 10 years old now so he decided to give it a bit of attention. Replacing worn out bits with shiney new bits and replacing parts that are known to fail after this length of time. He’s totally enjoying himelf. Course it does mean I have little bits of motorbike all over the kitchen. Nightmare, as my daughter finds thesr things fasinating and so picks them up and moves them….. You can guess the rest *shakes head*
Well I’m off to read something that hasn’t got anything to do with medication, need to get my brain in a better place before sleep 🙂
Love and blessings xxx

I should have read before sleeping last night – I just woke up from a dream about autism! Lol. When my parents were first married my dad and a friend used to scour scrap heaps for parts for their mopeds which were usually kept in the kitchen! Lol. X
