This week has been, less organised than I wanted. My daughter got worse and was put on antibiotics. I felt so bad as I thought she just had a bad cold and cough, but what she actually had was tonsilitus. I felt guilty that I hadn’t taken her to the drs earlier, and the thought of how horrid she must have been feeling, made me very sad. We spent a couple of days when she would not let me out of her sight, so needless to say, nothing got done. Neither of us slept much for 3 nights, and then wednesday my eldest was also sick with a bad cold. It was the last day of school, so he stayed home. Then yesterday hubby came home from work with man flu. At the moment my younger son seems fine, as do I. I have only just got over a cold that lasted over a month, so I’m really hoping I don’t get another one! Fingers crossed! Today was the first day my daughter was more or less back to her bouncy self, thank goodness

Had a couple of sad things happen this week. All work related, so I won’t go into it now. I guess it’s a time of year when we miss those people who are no longer with us, and having not seen my family much this year I guess I miss that too. It’s sometimes all a bit overwhelming with hubbys family so close, and their ‘interference’ in almost every aspect of our lives is really beginning to get me down. Don’t want to dwell too much on all the crappy stuff. Moving on…….

Had a couple of nice little treats in the post. A lovely christmas card from a fellow od writer, and a card and small pressie from another online friend, who I’ve been lucky enough to meet up with a few times now 🙂

Today our valley is flooded again. All a bit scary tonight driving to my work call. Drove over a hump back bridge, straight into water. Totally freaked me out, had no choice but to drive through it. At one point there was fast flowing water coming accross the road and I actually felt my car pushed to the side. I decided to drive the long way home! Hoping it will be better in the morning, at least it should be better in the daylight, at night it was actually pretty scary!

Was going to write more, but I’m too tired to concentrate. Last night my daughter only had 1 small coughing fit, and I had to get up to give her the inhaler. Hoping she will be ok tonight and will have a full nights sleep, her and me for that matter. Tomorrow I still have a ton of stuff to get through. Depending on how hubby’s man flu is will depend on how much I can actually get done.

Hope everyone is having a good pre christmas weekend, love and blessings xxx
