Research Papers Inhale Vigorously!!

I just got done submitting my research paper for my online class. And although I did procrastinate and put it off until the last minute, I still think research papers suck. It was for my psych class and so it had to be written in apa style. I’m used to MLA and so this totally threw me off. Why the crap do you need an abstract and an introduction? I guess I can kind of see why you need headings, but I seriously don’t get why you need an abstract and an introduction. To me they are basically the same thing. At least it was only the rough draft. I don’t have an abstract or headings or any of that yet. I’ll do those later though before I submit the final copy. I know she’s going to say a lot about my rough draft since it’s kind of horrible. There’s a lot wrong with it including it not being long enough. It’s suppose to be like 20 pages and I only have like 8 for my rough draft. Oh well. I should have learned by now that I shouldn’t procrastinate, but I suppose since I always did well in high school and comp I  while procrastinating, I guess I’m just used to it and I’m not used to having to work this hard to do a paper. I don’t know what’s worse procastinating, or doing it right off the bat to get it done and still doing a bad job on it. Research papers are the reason I decided not go major in English and be an English teacher. I hate research papers and essays although essays are a lot easier to write and I’d take them any day over a research paper.
