the wind came up and blew them inagain..

So it’s my last weekend in the Land of the Morning Calm.

Is it too early in the day to be drinking?

It’s five o’clock somewhere, right?

I dreamt last night of something that happened while I was at uni. I had been out late at the uni’s computer lab, working on an essay and chatting. It was the wee hours of the morning and someone called ninjaduck offered, via the computer, to give me a lift home. I met him in the darkened uni carpark, with a nonchalant "Ninjaduck, I presume?" and zoomed off on the back of his motorbike, to be dropped home. Safely. High on the buzz of excitement.

Sometimes I look back and marvel at my utter lack of suspicion.  Not that it’s ever been warranted.

One week and I’ll be back Down Under. All set to start again.

Again.

I feel like Michael Finnigan. Beginagain.  🙂

It’s funny, sometimes it gets on my nerves the way everyone over here stares (because as a foreigner in a town where there aren’t many foreigners, we’re a bit of a novelty) and children constantly call out, "Hello! Where are you from? Where do you live? How old are you?"   But I know, from my last time going home, that once back in Australia I kind of miss that.

Okay, I miss it a lot. I feel like yelling, "HEY! Look at me! I’ve just come back from Korea! Cooee! Anyone?"

Oh, for one person to come up to me and say, "JujuQueen, I presume?"

Crikey. Time to crack that wine now I reckon.
