POEM (061) ’til death shall we disagree

’til death shall we disagree

Deep through the light of inner foresight,
alone in the dark of the continuous lark,
wishing and hoping that you’d openly see,
the way that in fact I truly feel for thee.

We scream and we brawl over the insignificant,
we drag down our heels in pure discontent.
Stomping and slamming the doors in our mind,
secretly wanting the other to not remind.

Yes we may argue and usually disagree,
but it’s that rush we get from one, two and three.
It’s natural to be different, and yet stay the same,
and in our circle of four hands we solemnly proclaim:

to love and be loved and cherished in heart,
be kind and be sweet through each loving part,
stand tall, stand strong, united all along,
forever and always our hearts shall belong

through the tears and the pain
of our childish ritual stain
we will fight and defend
with our kindness in bend.

You know how I feel deep down in my soul,
and that in return it’s together we are whole,
two part of one with our eternal song
from “out of the blue” we’ll forever live long.
