SAFE SEX???? STDS!!!!!
Ok So While I was at the Med Center the other day they ran 18 million test…..Why it took a WHOLE DAMN WEEK too get test results back IDK…..Anyways Long story short my Doctors office calls me and tells me she needs me to come in. EVERYONE knows when they make you come in something is wrong. She also asked me to bring along all the meds I was taking. And Then told me it might be a good ideal if I left the kids at home….At That point I knew it was BAD……So I jump in my car….Heart thumping all the way there (longest 20 minute drive I have ever taken) I get in and wait like 5 minutes which seemed more like 5 hrs. And she sits me down and tells me we need to go over some test results and set up a follow up appointment. She explains to me That I have a treatable STD (clymidia) UUUGGGHH I just want to cry No scream no sit silenly not knowing what to say or do. So I leave the office to call the Ex and inform him since they recommmend he get in and get tested. Im just Shell shocked When he ask me "WHERE Did U get that from????? " Im Like Thinking CONSIDERING its U and U only Im having Sex with Im guessing U. Anyways so he calls me tonight and invites me over so we can talk he has now calmed down and now is at least trying to comfort me. Anyways So I am really scared and just dont know what to think. I mean STDs are just something we as humans think will never happen to us. Is there a DR. out there???? I have so many questions in my head right now…….but yet nothing to ask……What do people wanna know in a situation like this…..I just am comfused….WHY ME????? HOW???? Has anyone ever had Clymidia that is reading this? What can you tell me about your experience???? How do I deal with This???? Who Should I tell????? HELP

I am sorry this has happened to you! I have never had an STD but I did think I had one at one point. And I was freaking out. Luckily it is treatable and after it is taken care of life will go back to normal. Good luck.

i got tested for Chlymidia the other day but i’m assuming its ok, because they haven’t called me back. But the doctor gave me a talk before the test saying to talk about it with my partner before the results come back and she said that it can lay dormant for years without any symptoms so you don’t know who you really got it from if you’ve had more than one sexual partner in your life time (or when you were last tested). The doctor said that it didn’t necessarily have to come from my current partner. Anyway, the important thing to remember is that it is treatable. i think you just take some tablets to clear it up, and if its caught early enough, it shouldn’t have any long term effects. Anyway, i hope it all goes well.
