Dead By Dawn Interlude

Or: Why Sam Raimi is God.

Yesterday night was the last night of my favorite manager at work, so we watched Evil Dead II on the big screen. Needless to say, I had a religious experience, and now want to forward that Sam Raimi might be God.

It don’t think there’s really any argument about this one. Look, I can prove it in 44 seconds:

He’s God because you never see him, which makes Bruce Campbell Jesus, and Ted Raimi the Unholy Ghost:

I don’t think a film of such awesomeness can be explained by mere logic or reason. This, my friends, commands a supernatural explanation. On a big screen, with that lovely sound system. I think it should be the new sunday ritual. And our big holiday? Ash Wednesday.
