running in circles again..

Kay, So. Luke and I have been texting a fair bit lately.
for instance, when I went to bed the other night he said "sweet dreams gorgeous xoxo".
and yesterday he said "we should meet up. What time do you finish on Monday?"

Seeing as i already had plans to catch up with Emmah at EC from 1-2, we arranged to catch up from about twelve until one. So I went to hang out with him at the skate park at EC for a while, and it was nice, and when i left he hugged me etc.

guess what?

He has a Girlfriend.
yes, that’s right.
his myspace profile says single, but she’s his top friend, and on her myspace he’s her top friend. her status is ‘in a relationship’. her ‘extended network’ thing says ‘I’m off to the Gold Coast today, I’ll miss Luke!’ and her quote thing has "LUKE <3" at the end of it. on top of that, not only do they have pictures of one another on their myspaces, but he has a comment from her saying "Why is your status single? I think you should change it so mings don’t hit on you over the internet."

I’m just like.. uhh.. what?
I’m cool to just be friends i guess, even though he’s pretty cute,
but I’m just thinking, right..

If my boyfriend went out, got wasted, asked for a girls number, texted her nonstop, called her ‘gorgeous’ and said things like ‘xoxo’ to her, and then asked to meet up with her, I’d be pretty pissed.

I hope I’m not the cause of the future unhappiness of someone I’ve not even met.
