Phantom

Have you ever read the lyrics to the Phantom of the Opera? The last few months being obsessed with the power its entranced me by. I have always owned this movie been years since I’ve seen it and loved it when I saw the theatre production in middle school. I forgot how much beauty and passion comes out of that play. But this time I feel like I was really able to sink my fingers into and understanding the emotion of each character. "The Music of the Night", even the first three lines invites you to complete surrender in letting go of logic and allowing your emotions to take control. The way its worded has so much power. I wish I could write something like that.

The other song "Past the point of No Return" gave me tingles as the deep throated scene came in. The mysterious masked covered Phantom that draws you in by not knowing the extent of his power really goes, you can go either way to believe in the fantasy of being a ghost from a genius man that has been misunderstood. You can’t help but fall in love with such a creature under so much pain. Wishing you could hold his dark soul, the chance you can put him at a moments ease.

can’t get enough of that book/movie. I suppose there is just more thats a question that makes you wanting more but Gaston Leroux did such an amazing job at this story but didn’t write much else. Did he have the latent to write more and was afraid too? Does he have more pieces that have not been found? Maybe he wrote poetry and chose for the world know to know. Maybe it was the story of this life and the pain became his book.Whatever it is I thank God for inspirational writings and movies where some or maybe most of the world find silly or boring where they will never understand that is where I find You in search of Your love.

I love Phantom of the Opera. Classic. ryn: The thought crossed my mind once or twice but I think I might just like seeing one with “-Anonymous” behind it. Then people in the know could be all “My friend wrote that” and other people would be like “pfft, whatever…liar”. =)…anyway, thanks for the comments. Always a pleasure hearing from you. Peace,

ryn w/ the poem: I like that piece. You should post that one. It’s very intricate, and doubly so for someone who was 15 or 16 when they wrote it. It’s very visual, lots of descriptive words. It gives a very clear mental picture in such few words. Does it have a title?
