Snow!

It actually snowed! It never snows here, not really. We might get a bit but it hardly ever sticks! This is the most snow we’ve had in years we got about 8-10 inches and of course because we’re not used to and so unprepared for snow the whole country shuts down! I went food shopping this evening and didn’t have to look for a parking space for the first time since the shopping centre opened!

It’s her anniversary today. It’s been a year. A whole year since I saw her, talked to her. I miss her. I couldn’t make it to the grave yard because of the snow which is probably a good thing that just would have made things worse. I only cried once, I thought I’d be much worse, even took the day off work because I anticipated being depressed all day but I wasn’t really. Maybe I’m finally getting over it. I’ll never ever stop missing her but maybe now I’m beginning to accept the fact that she’s never coming back.
