8 is my lucky #…I’ll tell you about this serendipitous day …later

…I am a member of a two meet-up groups.

One I am actively involved in because it’s a fun hobby that I enjoy but have no talent… and the group is nonjudgmental and welcoming. The other group I was not sure of… My name was on a list long ago as being interested in a group that celebrates large women. At the time no group existed in my area…. so I was on the cyber wait list…someone started a group last fall… for BBW’s and BHM and their admirers…the admirers part is what prevented me from filling out a profile…nevertheless my screen name is/was posted as a member. When I joined the group I’m active in, I posted a pic.  There are also pics taken at the various events hosted and I am in those as well…. Well the pic I posted automatically post to any site of which I am a member. Thus, my name and pic are at the BBW site.  (I did not complete a profile at the BBW group because I wanted to FEEL it out…. I did not know if it was going to be a self-affirming acceptance kind of group or a hookup group.  It really has morphed into both… for instance I am going to a tea party and the guest speaker is going to enlighten us on Victorian flirting…fan flirting. It’s for ladies only…I think I will have a delightful time)

I received a "Shout" (similar to how we comment here to an entry but not as detailed) from a man who is a member of the BBW group as an admirer…. asking if I was going on a shopping trip the group had planned…. I shouted back…no but I plan to become more active so see you around’. 

Next day:

shout from him…"when do you plan to come to an event?"…. and  a private email through the meet up group site… from him…asking if I was dating (LOL)…. He thinks I am beautiful and wants to get to know me. I respond… "I am married …so I’m not dating" (teehheheeh)…"thanks for the compliment…lots of beautiful single ladies are members of this group…good luck."  Received another email…."your husband is a lucky man…I just want to get to know you as a friend…maybe lunch on sat…I hope I am not scaring you away …just would really like to get to know you" (if  YOU think You’re creepy and have to state as a disclaimer…it’s creepy)

…ME…Mostlymyself…"you do not scare me…I am not interested. I am not looking for male companionship…there are plenty of women in this meet up who are obviously single and looking. Good luck and Enjoy" …I did not want to inflame him…  you never know, he might show up at someting I attend …He knows how I look and I know how he looks (like the black actor in that movie " the green mile")… Bigger than life and hard….so I wanted to make it clear but keep it friendly…. I am such a Libra!!  or is it self preservation? :^)
