Today

We went the Darien Lake today…An Amusement park not far from us.  I got tickets from my friend as they were free and today was the last day to use them.  So we did and we went.  That’s just me and the kids.  I didn’t think Dennis would go. I offered but no.  Glad he didn’t it w ould have pissed him off.  The place was packed. More packed than I EVER have seen it. I use to go all the time back in the day but as I got older… nope not of interest to me.   I wouldn’t have gone this year either as Jonathan is too little for most rides and has no patience and I can’t go on the rides with Andrew having Jonathan with me.    

I went to Garage Sales with my mother this morning before  we left.  In fact  we didn’t go till around 1pm  as Jonathan needed his nap.  We went to go and the back tire is FLAT!! GRRR There’s a nail in it.  I though this trip was going to be cursed and it was a major pain but the big problems went well, the rest was just annoying.   I got air for the tire and they did it for free.  I got fix a flat for the tire and I screwed that up as I’m sure most leaked out.  But it held all the way there and back.  The tickets were free from a school program and I was afraid they would let me use one, that it had to be another kid instead of an adult but no they didn’t care.     Annoying was the wait to park which took longer than driving there….GRRRRRR.  Annoying was then waiting in line to change to go swimming…GRRRR  Annoying was getting to the pool area to find they are taking a half hour break. 

The kids enjoyed themselves and Jonathan learned the love of rides.  Too cute he was there. He was so ticked off when they stopped.
