I don’t overreact…I seize the moment
assess what has fallen
on my plate
What I have placed
on my plate
What other’s have graciously passed
onto my plate.
The possiblities are endless
and my thoughts race.
I prepare for all angles…(as many as I can)
guilty of focusing on the next steps
If the worst is to occur
however, this is what I have to be ready for (as ready as I can be)
People that judge
accusations of pessimism-
These are foolish bullets directed towards me
I digress
I am always on a quixotic quest
one way or another…
which has lead to hardships
all self inflicted…I am aware
but do not think I strive for the unattainable
I know there are limits
I know there are imperfections
I can capture and appreciated these
transform them into a thing of beauty
of awe
that is…
if they work into my ideal…—
