My Chart Stuff
Usually I would not post something as such…however I wish to keep it here for the moment…it is basically for my files…if you care to read it…go to town…although it pertains only to me….slight background…a question was asked to Lynn about my chart regarding retrogrades…this was her response (some I already knew about…yet it was more indepth then I expected)…which I must say is pretty much dead on!…to the point of it being irksome…that is if I was not a believer in things as such….however, I am…and it therefore just brings some more insight for my journey….

You already know that your Sun is in Sagittarius, and your Sun is tightly conjunct Mercury and Neptune, all in Sagittarius. This means that Mercury (communication functions) and Neptune (spirituality and a sense of the infinite) are a part of your essential soul nature. Sagittarians tend to be optimistic people whose focus is on a search for real meaning in life, and they usually need a lot of freedom and autonomy in relationships so that they can freely pursue their quests. Venus in the chart describes how we relate to others, and what we desire in relationships. Your Venus is in Aquarius, the sign of individuality that seeks its own completely unique _expression of itself. Venus makes a harmonious relationship to Uranus, which rules Aquarius. We call this a "double whammy" because the Uranus/Aquarius dynamic is doubly associated with your Venus, telling us that this is an important component of your chart. Aquarius is an air sign and it tends to be somewhat detached and unemotional, and with Venus in that placement you will tend to be attracted to unusual kinds of people. More than likely you will always have unconventional relationships, but you are very idealistic (Aquarius) and will not settle for less than the relationship that is right for you. Your Jupiter is in Scorpio, showing that you do have a passionate component to your nature and are not well-suited to a celibate life!
Because your nature requires a fair amount of stimulation and variety, it is not likely that you will marry your childhood sweetheart and live in wedded bliss for the next 75 years. You will always crave change, with your Sun conjunct Mercury (remember Hermes the messenger? He was always on the move). Although your chart doesn’t have a lot of water signs, your Sun conjunct Neptune shows that you are very sensitive and somewhat psychic in picking up impressions from others. Someone with a great deal of sensitivity who has a strong need for space and autonomy as you do may tend to create more distance in order to protect yourself against unwanted psychic disturbance.
By the same token, you are not likely to remain in the same job for your entire lifetime. Yours is a path of change and growth, and as your life unfolds you will find your way towards a career that satisfies you more and more. You are very well suited to the legal field, which is actually ruled by Jupiter and Sagittarius, and your Aquarian nature which seeks fair treatment for all people would be happy working in the the field of sociology. The Peanuts character Linus used to say, "I love mankind, it’s people I can’t stand," a very Uranian statement!
You have a fairly rare planetary configuration called a Yod in your chart. A yod occurs when two planets in sextile formation (60 degrees) make a 150 degree angle to a third planet, called the apex planet. The Yod is also called the "Finger of God" or "Finger of Fate." The apex planet for the Yod in your chart is Chiron. Chiron in your chart is retrograde in Taurus, a placement that can indicate someone who is not comfortable dealing with the physical/sensual realm that Taurus rules, such as food, eating, comfort and sexuality. I suspect that you may feel less than completely at home on Planet Earth, and this is really your quest. The Yod doesn’t operate on a day-to-day level, but when Chiron is hit by a transiting planet you will find yourself moving naturally forward in the direction of your evolutionary growth.
My best advice to you is to trust yourself and learn to listen to the voice of your guidance within you. You are very connected to your higher self, and have been following the path that has been given to you. You will continue to find your life unfolding in a beautiful, magical and perfect way. Don’t be discouraged if you find yourself questioning your path, just ask the question "Where am I to turn now?" You will find yourself guided with purpose and direction.
best wishes,
Lynn
The beauty of astrology is that it gives us permission to be exactly who we are, even though it may not be how we think we should be looking at the way we perceive the rest of the world to be.
