They Remember

Walking down the halls,
Everyone staring,
Everyone looking.
I only thought everyone would forget.

My palms begin sweating,
My head spinning,
My eyes rolling back.
I prayed that everyone would forget.

Everything freezes in time.
Fingers pointing,
Waves of laughter
Crash against my ears.
They have not forgotten.

I know how it is to be humiluated in a crowd of others and wonder what the heck it is about u that they’re laughin at…keep ur head up high and smile like ur laughin wit them.
