Anniversary/Mother’s Day/Pictures

Our anniversary was good! I went into work early to pick up my check, and asked my boss if I could have off early that night, and told him why. He is so sweet, he completely gave me off that night! I haven’t worked in days! So Sheena and VInce babysat Kenzie, and Chris and I went out for sushi at our favorite sushi bar, Shogun. Then we took our leftovers, and Chris made me close my eyes and he drove us to the surprise. I almost got motion sickness ont he wa there too. When I finally got to open my eyes, he had booked us the same room we stayed in on our honeymoon, and brought wine, and glasses. We filled up the hottub, and gave each other foot massages in a nice heated room, with the jets going. It was sooo nice. I won’t go into too many details but wine was drank, feet were rubbed, other things were happened ;). The only bad thing is I got sick right afterwards. I spent a good chunk of our actual anniversary (sat.) with the flu curled up in bed, as well as Mother’s Day.

I was supposed to work, but they let me go home with the flu. Weather was terrible, we lost power for three hours. So my first mother’s day was spent sleeping off chills and fever, and trying to take care of an infant.

I still can’t believe that Kenzie is almost 7 months old! She is really trying to learn to pull herself up. She’s just not quite strong enough, but once you get her up, she will stay up holding on to something. And like always she has to try to shove everything in her mouth!

Finally getting around to posting a few pictures. I’m sorry I haven’t been noting anyone, but I’ve been reading I promise. I’ve really got to go back and note my fav’s but I’m keeping updated!
