Yesterday we were on our way to WIC and I said, wouldn’t it be nice if your mom’s check came today. After our appointment we went to the car wash, and to Walmart for a few things, and when we got home, her check was there! Finally, we can start saving up our money, and not spend every last little dime on bills, and her house payment. Finally!! It won’t post til tommorrow, but who cares. I’m just glad I don’t have to hear her harp about how she has no money. Ofc ourse she’s had the past six months to sit in bed and plan what to spend money on. Shakes head. She really DOES want to be broke. But she is doing a few things for Chris and I. Like she did give me 200 bucks to buy some clothes, so I’ll probably spend a bit of it on me, and then buy the baby something new too. Maybe a toy, or some clothes.
We gave her a little rice cereal last night. Maybe a 1/2 ounce, on a spoon. She loved it! She also grabbed to spoon from me and shoved it into her mouth. I’m not sure I’m ready to start giving it to her everyday. She doesn’t really need it yet, but I might give it to her once in a while. She constantly eyeballs Chris and I when we are eating, so we decided to try a little bit. She did very good with it.
I think she is getting a little cold though. She’s kinda snotty, and has a little cough. Sneezing more than usual too. Nothing to really worry about I don’t think. Anyway, gotta get running, off to clothes shop.
*edit* Clothes shopping went great. Found a ton of shirts I liked, had them all in my size, and even got two new jackets, and 3 pairs of dark wash jeans that fit correctly. Yay for that! Now I need some cute pairs of pointy toed shoes, and I’m set. I got 16 tops, 2 jackets, and 3 pair pants. They didn’t have any purple, which I was hoping to add to my wardrobe, but I did get some much needed pinks. Most of the shirts have pink in them, and I also got some bright blues, a few greens, and a couple yellows. All that for less than 300 dollars. I also got some HIP eyeshadow to try out, and I love it so much, I’m getting more in green blue and purple when I can afford to. I might take pictures and post them if anyone is interested in seeing my new buys.
Glad her check came! Wonder how long until she spends it……((HUGS)) I can’t believe she’s eating rice cereal already! Its all happened so quickly!

Kayla, I’m giving her about two months. Lol. Actually, with her fixed income and then her months check of almsot 2000 from VA she might actually hold on to it, and be able to save it, but Im not holding my breath.

Wow that is a lot of clothes! I’m really glad that you did that for yourself. You do so much for everyone else, Heather, sometimes you need to treat yourself. Besides, clothes are a necessity 😉
