Relief

Sweet relief! For the past week and half I’ve had major tooth pain in my right back molars. I thought for sure it was absessed. I put it off for a few days hoping it would get better, and popped IB profen and some painkillers. It didn’t. So then I had to wait over this weekend for everyone to open. I called my dentist and they basically denied me an appointment, and told me it would cost an arm and two legs just for the doctor to check me. I don’t have dental so of course I said fuck you. I tried calling my doctor, but since i’m a new patient she had to submit paperwork to the doctor and give me a call back in two weeks. They told me to try this walkin clinic, but they didn’t accept my insurance, so I’m in tears at this point, feeling like I’ll have to live with the pain forever, and my only other option was to spend 5 plus hours in the ER to get antibiotics. Which many of you know, when you have a 3 month old baby and a sick MIL at home, it isn’t an option. So I pulled myself together and called a different dentist. This guy was priced reasonabley, very nice, and made me feel good to be there. My teeth are shit, and it’s my fault. Not from not brushing and all that jazz, but from the meth use. I explained that to the other dentist and he always made me feel bad for having bad teeth, even though I told him why. This dentist understood and was very sweet, and understood we didn’t have dental. Well the tooth wasn’t absessed, just very rotting, and gross. It was a back molar, I told him to just yank it, and he did. Best of all it didn’t hurt, none of it, and he did a wonderful job. I’m leaving the other dentist, and going to this one from now on. I have NO pain now, just a little tenderness in the extraction site.
