Baby Shower

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve wrote. Time seems to move so slowly in some ways, and so quickly in others. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’m very done with being pregnant. I’m just ready for her to be here already! Still 6 more weeks isn’t that much time, but the days seem to drag in this pregnancy. I have Fav’s who are now over halfway through with their pregnancies, and I feel like mine has gone so slowly. I still haven’t gotten around to uploading belly shots, but I will someday. I have the last three weeks on there, and tommorrow will make four.

Tonight is my baby shower, and I’m very anxious about it. I don’t know why. I guess I’m feeling down about it a bit. Most girls have their moms, or MIL or some family member to go with them, and I’ll be arriving solo. It’s only a block away, so of course the waiting will be killing me. I’ll have to have someone there take pictures for me, and I’ll have to have someone there write down gifts so I can send thank yous. I normally would not get apprehensive about these things, so it must be pregnancy.

I have Wednesday off, so I’ll probably update with pictures then.

Oh and not to mention last Friday Chris got fired from work. Not for anything big, or anything that was his fault. He forgot to initial a temperature log, and his bitch boss fired him for it. They are fire happy at Sam’s Club, and unfortunately it was completely legal. So today He’ll be job hunting, and a few friends of ours have pointed him towards some higher paying jobs, starting at 10 an hour. I’m not too worried, we still have enough money to pay bills, and buy the time he gets another job, which shouldn’t take long, we won’t have suffered any.

I’m off to shower and get ready for work.
