Baby *pics*

Today after my morning shower, I climbed back into bed and snuggled for 45 minutes with my hubby. I did not want to get back up, it was a struggle. It was so warm, and comfy and lovey inside that big fluffy comforter and his arms were so strong and inviting. Plus I was getting a light back rub and didn’t want to budge.

I trained at work today. It’s something I’ve avoided, because I’d have to be nice, but Leigh scheduled me to do it, so train I did. Damn it, I do a good job. I guess I complain enough about people being lazy, I can take some part in making sure they aren’t.

After work I ate a yummy shrimp pasta, and headed home. Guess what I found when I walked into our room? A big ole box from Chris’s friend Christine. The very same sweetheart who sent me an early maternity shirt. Inside was a letter stating how she couldn’t help herself, and behind that was an organic egyptian cotton swaddle blanket in green, with a long sleeve snap tee, and a matching green baby hat. A blue egyptian cotton blanket, a winnie the pooh hoodie, onesie and pants, a pack of diapers, and a baby rattle. I am so shocked, and I was crying like a baby. This takes away some of the fear of not being prepared.

I thought I was having a girl, but after the ultrasound, I dunno. I know it’s too soon to tell, but something clicked and said maybe boy. Now I just don’t know. Everything Christine sent me is boyish, which is fine, I can put a bib or something on bumblebee if the baby’s a girl. Christine thought she was having a girl, even told by the ultrasound tech, and doctors she was having a girl, and Jack popped out. So she’s preparing us I guess.
