Jalopeno e

I got my first craving yesterday! Jalopeno’s with shredded chedder cheese. It was so yummy, but I just had to have it. Luckly the kitchen guys give me whatever I want anyway. I need that doctor to call me back. I have no clue why it’s taking so long, but they said it could take two weeks for them to verify insurance. Halfway I think that’s bullshit, they just wanna wait until your further along for the first exam. Honestly two weeks? I’m going to call them soon and check on the status of my whatever, and see when I might be excepted to get an appointment. Maybe if I keep buggin them they’ll just give me an appointment sooner. I also need to know when it is, so I can request the day off for work.

I just called the doctor, and sure as shit, she told me they don’t like to get women in before 10-12 weeks. Uh, that’s 2 months along without an appointment. She asked if I had any problems, and I told her it took us a year and half to concieve, and I was just real nervous and wanted to make sure everything was okay. Immediately she had a spot open for me. Funny how they did that. So my first appointment is Monday March 26th. She also confirmed that I’d be around 8 weeks. Yes I will, that Friday. So appearently bugging seems to work, because I got in. The only problem now is on that weeks Sunday, I have a baby shower to go to, that I need to request off for too. It’s for my friend Mo, Sheena’s step sister. I love this girl, and I’m hoping her girl vibes will wear off on me.

Oooh! That sounds nummy! I love spicy food, and cheese! Just so ya know, some doctors won’t see you until you miss your second period, when you’re about 6-8 weeks along. I don’t know why they do that, it’s stupid. Bug them and bug them until they give you an appointment honey!

Id call them and bug them tell them you have concerns and you want to be seen…hell just bug them. i called my doctors office the day after i found out and i got my appt that following monday March 5th and me and you are running neck and neck with the pregnancy. Good luck!

I understand that they have a volatile forum, but I think that USN Wife is more..um…nazi-like. Kayla seems to follow her example. Sad. I like Kayla a lot. GOOD, fricken doctors. My first midwife appointment is around the 24th, she asked me when I wanted to start and Im like Hmmmm after vacation! LOL Stupid work is like, you cant take the day off, yadda yadda, so I told them “Well OK, but its the appointment where she tells me what I can and can’t do.” I know she’s going to tell me to quit anyway. Yesterday they waved my concerns about liftingfour 33 pound bags over my head. I said it was fine if they put it on my shoulder for me, but then they just expected me to lift them myself? What the hell? I don’t know what I can and can’t do, I wouldnt NORMALLY be lifting that much so I figured it wasnt all that wonderful, and its so hot in there that I sweat and being so hot all the time its so uncomfortable. So Im just going to put my two weeks in after my vacation so I can try working from home again or find something less strenuous. At 8 weeks you can have a transvaginal and see the heartbeat! That will be so cool for you. What is the midwife going to do? Measure my nonexistant fundus. -dies laughing- And pat my poor husband on the back, who is all “HOMEBIRTH OMG” freaking out.

Oh, and I have to have ketchup on everything.

About how they wouldn’t give her a damn appointment. Bastards!! Mm I used to hate spicy food, but now I put Cholula and jalapenos on everything..lol

YAY for cravings already! 🙂 My first appointment was at 8 weeks. Other than all the bloodwork, it was really fun. Chad and I got to see our little girl for the first time. She looked like a little peanut! It was the cutest thing EVER! We also got to SEE her heart beating on the u/s screen. That was the most amazing experience EVER! I can’t wait for the 26th to get here so I can hear all aboutyour appointment! 🙂 *hugs*

I know they don’t see you until after 12 weeks (unless high risk) because of the chance of miscarriage. Not that I agree but I can understand where they are coming from. Good luck with your appointment, only 2 days before our scan :O)

Good 4 u 4 bugging the piss out of them!! Spicy food yum.. When I had my u/s.. I was told they wanted 2 do a amino & I was like ok.. so they did & then at that time I got the chocolate crave… it last until she was born.. during that time I had read if u eat chocolate throughout your whole pregnancy, you’ll have a calm and happy baby…. BIG TIME MYTH!! Andi was so damn colicky that I cried!!
