Times Change, Get A Phone

It seems I’m always logging how busy it’s been in the past few days, but I can never remember what made it that way. It’s getting close to Christmas, with 14 days left.

Pam, Kristen, and her kids aren’t coming. Appearently they have some sort of drama going on. They always do. I’ve stopped caring what it’s about. They always do something to sabatage themselves.

Speaking of drama, we have a new girl at work. And her boyfriend beats the shit out of her. As of now they’ve been dating for three months, but she says it’s over. I’m edgy to believe her, because I’ve heard about so many stupid women going back with the men who beat them. But as a woman I feel for her. If she keeps going back, then that’s her fault. It’s not a one time thing. This guy is known by all of the Rafferty’s staff as a woman beater. She’s been told. So there are no excuses. I hope for her sake she is strong enough to walk away, no matter how convincing he might be.

I finally caved and I’m getting a cell phone. I’ve never had one, because I hate everyone driving, talking, smoozing on the phone, instead of paying attention. But times are changing, and it’s becoming a nessesity for life. So we got the T mobile family plan. Free unlimited nights, weekends, 1000 whenever minutes, 1000 shared minutes, no charge roaming and unlimited long distance, and 4 free phones. Mine is orange. I’m starting to get excited.

The tree is fully decorated, and we got presents wrapped that needed to be shipped today. Now for some more wrapping. I’m ready to get a few presents under the tree. I bought some very cute wrapping paper, in blues, so there will be a nic mix of blue, green, red, and golds. I like differently colored papers. I also bought a boyd’s bear paper that’s too cute.

This is the exact phone I’m getting. It’s motorola PEBL in Orange. Bluetooth tech, speakerphone, and a bunch of other cute gadgets, like a camera, and other things. And all calls to Chris are free.
