Hot Card

Today was interesting non the less. A few days ago I mentioned we were having money problems. I didn’t want to discuss it at the time since I had no clue what  was going on. The bank had been closed, and Chris and I working opposite shifts. A few days ago a charge was made on our card, enough to set us into a negative balance. I wasn’t too worried since I get cash daily, but the next day the money had been returned. Neither Chris or I had made any charges recently. So today Chris grabbed the number for the company off our online statement, and called them. The were a webhosting site, and apearently someone had jacked our card number and tried to purchase a web domain for internet porn. The company caught the indescrepency and denied the charge, sending the money back into our account. The noticed police, and of course had no way of notifying us, since we had never heard of them. So after that lovely phone call, we went to the bank had it hot carded and destroyed in front of our eyes. We should be getting a new card (free of charge) in a week. I love my bank. They treat us well.

We ran to pay our storage fee, and headed over to Vince’s to pick him up for some Old Chicago. We ate out, and it was pretty good. Even though at first they cooked my burger medium and it was disgustingly pink inside. I sent it back.
